Hudson Library Celebrates it's 50 Year

Hudson Area Library on State Street is celebrating it's 50 year anniversary!

Read about Friday's gala celebration in the Register-Star.

Founded in 1959, the historic federal style building was built in 1816. Originally an orphanage, the building was donated to the Hudson City School District to turn it into a library. Up until that time Hudson was the only city in New York State without a library!
